All the wines sold on the marketplace are owned by our members, and each seller can choose to list a wine for sale with a fixed buy-now price or create an auction. When a wine is sold, the wine is simply transferred to the new owner's wine collection, but the remains in the same unique location in our cellar, which eliminates the need for handling and shipping. Clever, right? If you do not have a paid subscription and you buy wine on the marketplace, we will store and insure the purchased wines free of charge for 60 days, thereby giving you plenty of time to either schedule a pick-up or have the wines shipped to the destination of your choice. If you choose not to pick up your wine within 60 days after the purchase, you will automatically be charged a monthly membership according to our standard subscription tiers. When buying wines on the marketplace there are no handout fees or buyer’s premium - the price you see is the price you pay. |
| Budget Storage in WineBoxes |
| If you are looking for a cheap storage solution and do not need each wine to be individually registered, or the possibility to buy or sell on the marketplace, storage in WineBoxes might be for you. Each WineBox can hold up to 12 standard-sized bottles, or 6 magnums, and will be registered as a combined lot and assigned an overview photo. The price per WineBox is €5 per month and includes €1.500 in insurance. |
