Transporting wine inherently involves risks, especially when it comes to fine wine. At UrbanWineBox, we go above and beyond to ensure the best conditions during shipping, because we understand the importance of receiving wine in perfect condition.
Remember, that you have 60 days of free storage on wines purchased on our trading platform. We provide ideal storage conditions for long-term storage, and our digitalized warehouse setup allows wine to change hands without being physically moved. This special approach allows you to aggregate wine in our warehouse(s) and have them shipped all together, saving on shipping costs.
To have your wines prepared for shipping, please request shipping when creating a handout request on our website. Once you've submitted your shipping request, we will reach out to you via email.

Shipping wine across borders can be complex due to customs and regulations. At UrbanWineBox, we partner with MBE for international shipping. MBE offer a wide range of shipping methods and excels in careful packaging and timely arrival, ensuring your wine arrives in pristine condition.
We charge a handling fee of €39,95, which covers the processing and first-mile delivery of the wines to the drop-off location. Upon receiving your shipping request, we will put you in contact with MBE, who will provide you with a quote for the shipping and insurance costs based on your destination and the quantity of wine being shipped.
